NRGSTREAM Xtractor V2 is now available.
To install NRGSTREAM Xtractor, please follow these instructions.

Important Note : You must have administrative privileges on your PC to run this installation.

UPGRADE CONSIDERATIONS :
If you are upgrading NRGSTREAM Xtractor you must Stop the existing NRGSTREAM Extractor Service using the Services interface.

Click the download button below to run the installation directly or download the setup file and run it locally.

When you launch Xtractor for the first time, you need to enter your login credentials.
Double click the message at the bottom of the Xtractor window to launch Diagnostics.
Click the Credentials button at the bottom of the Diagnostics window to enter your username and password.

NRGSTREAM XTRACTOR INSTALLATION NOTES AND CONSIDERATIONS

To save extract files to Network Drives the NRGSTREAM Xtractor service must be started with a user account that has sufficient permissions to run as a windows service and to create files on the Network Drive.
When the installation is complete NRGSTREAM Xtractor V.2 will launch automatically.

The install must be run with enough permissions that allow you to install programs.
Once the service is running a user with restricted permission it can still make changes to extracts using the NRGSTREAM Xtractor Client from the Start Menu.

PERMISSIONS REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION : Admin rights on the local machine

RUN SERVICE AS... : Requires permissions to run services.
Also requires permission to access the internet to retrieve data from NRGSTREAM

WRITE NETWORK FILES :
Permissions on the network to write files for the user that is specified to run the service.

XTRACT MAINTENANCE :
Requires access to port 8840 on the local machine to access the running service and the ability to run the ExClient program.

If you are installing Trader V.7 or Xtractor V.2 on a PC with 64bit Office/Excel :
You will need to follow these manual steps after the Trader V.7 or Xtractor V.2 install completes.

• You will need to run a command prompt as administrator
• cd \windows\microsoft.net\framework64\v2.0.50727
• Trader V.7 : regasm "c:\users\(insert windows user name)\appdata\local\nrgstream\Trader 7\nrgstream.trader.api.dll" /codebase
• Xtractor V.2 : regasm "c:\users\(insert windows user name)\appdata\local\NRGSTREAM\Xtractor 2\Client\NRGSTREAM.Xtractor.API.dll" /codebase

Conversion of Trader V6 or Xtractor V1 Macros.
Trader :
Replace all occurrences of "TraderAPI.NRGSTREAMxlapi" with "NRGSTREAM.Trader.API.Extractor"

Xtractor :
Replace all occurrences of "NRGSTREAMAPI.NRGSTREAMxlapi" with "NRGSTREAM.Xtractor.API.Extractor"
